Mass of Christian Burial - Carolyn Barlow

Carolyn Barlow, age 91, of Florence, Mississippi passed away on Sunday, July 16, 2023. A visitation for Carolyn will be held Tuesday, July 18, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Saint Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 4000 West Tidewater Lane, Madison, Mississippi, followed by a funeral mass at 11:00 AM.

Carolyn was born October 16, 1931 in Gluckstadt, MS. She attended high school in Gluckstadt at St. Joseph Catholic School. For the better part of her working life, she worked on the assembly line at General Electric. Carolyn enjoyed traveling, flower gardening, and was a member of the St. Claire Bible Study Group at St. Francis Catholic Church. Carolyn will be remembered for her generous, tender heart and her strong, caring spirit.

She is preceded in her passing by her first husband, Billy DeFoe; her second husband, Wesley Barlow; her parents- Andrew and Anna Klaas; and her brothers- James Klaas and Henry Klaas.

Carolyn is survived by her daughter, Tracy Hancock (Randy); her brother, Richard Holmes (Donna); and her grandchildren- Rachel Hancock, Samantha Hancock, Sarah Wakefield (Dayton), and Joshua Hancock.
