It seemed a monumentous task before the group of adults and teens who showed up on a very chilly Saturday morning. The clean-up crew that volunteered started early and worked tirelessly until nearly 1:00 p.m. Two large dead trees were cut and most of the areas around campus, with fallen limbs, were cleared of debris. Only a huge pile of limbs and cut tree trunks remained.
There is still more work to be done on campus and we are looking for volunteers to help finsh the work begun. A couple of trees still need to be cut and more clearing will be needed as well. Please consider joining the next Parish Clean-Up day coming soon.
We are very thankful to: Dennis Antici; Rene Bodin; the Browns - Jim, Marie, and Josh; the Butts - Jack, Megan, and Andersen (Andersen for her moral support); Shayne McIntyre; the Nicosias - John, Matt, and Jackson; Dennis Riecke; and Debra and Tunney Vandevender. The small group got a lot accomplished and we couldn’t have done it without the help from these parishioners! Thank You! God Bless You!
