He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap
bountifully…
for God loves a cheerful giver.”
~ 2 Corinthians 9:6-7
GOOD AND GRACIOUS GOD,
We thank You for those who built our parish, and for the sacrifices they made. May their example inspire us to display the same generosity and cooperation in our undertaking to preserve this legacy. May Your Holy Spirit be upon us to direct the work of our hands, that what we do would be pleasing to You, and a source of blessing for generations to come.
Amen.
We Need Your SPECIAL GENEROSITY
St. Francis of Assisi is looking to raise a minimum of $3,000,000 through the efforts of this campaign. Every member of our parish community is integral to our success in reaching this goal, and, therefore, each family is asked to consider making a pledge to the campaign to the best of their ability. Everyone is asked to prayerfully consider how their generosity can reflect their gratitude for the gifts that God has given them. We know that a sacrificial pledge will be a challenge for some of our parish households, therefore, it is vital to the success of our campaign that those who are able to make larger pledges do so. Individuals who are financially capable of pledging $25,000, $50,000, $100,000 or more, are asked to step forward and become leaders of our campaign. Please review the Suggested Gift Plans on the following page and choose a plan that is right for you and your family.
Each family is asked to consider a minimum pledge of $5,000 or more, payable over three years. A pledge of $5,000, after a down payment of $500, is $125 per month for three years or $4.11 a day!
Your Decision to Give
No one can tell you how much you should give. The individual parishioner or family is who will decide what to contribute, since the financial obligations of each family are different. What you give will be held in the strictest confidence.
All contributions from the smallest to the largest are gratefully appreciated.
